Pictures From spring fling

Post by Rick_L »

I belong to NEWJO(Northeast Willys Jeep Organization). The group had it annual Spring Fling in and around Washington, NH this past weekend. Lots of Jeeps, trail rides down abandoned roads, and hardcore trails cut on private property. Myself and two others drove three hours in 95 degree hazy, humid weather to attend. Unfortunately, I suffered a broken locking hub part way down a trail, which cut my day short. To add insult to injury, I later ran out of gas, and forgot that I had been stealing from my jerry can to fill the lawn mower. Still had a fun time, despite how hot the floor boards get in these old Jeeps at highway speeds, and my forgetting to check the jerry can before leaving.

The two other Jeeps that I drove up with.

Some of the terrain that the trails went down(known as the Swedish mile)

A picture of my Jeep that someone snapped after my day was cut short by the broken locking hub. (looks good with a little mud on it!)Image[/list]
