Wanted: M38A1 Late Battery Box Lid (Latch Type)

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a later style battery box lid/cover in nice shape for my A1. I've got a very nice original early style cover (8-bolt type) I can trade or I'll buy the cover outright if you don't need an earlier version. I know I can buy a repop.......but I'd rather have an original if possible. I saw the one on ePay last week, but couldn't get to a computer in time to win it. Just figured I'd ask if anyone had one they wanted to part with before I bite the bullet and buy the repop.

Midwest Military has a few originals in stock.

I need to start calling you first when I'm looking for things, but if I don't see it listed on your website(s) I hesitate to call and ask because I imagine you're a very busy guy........and I don't want to bug you and waste your time. But I probably waste more of your time if you have to keep checking these forums and leave messages for folks like me. So I'll be calling you shortly.

Frankly, I wish more people would call. When we have limited quantity of an item, we will never list it on the website. Put it up, take it down. More hassle than it is worth. Glad to have the phone ring. We have thousands of square feet of material and cannot possibly list it all.
