M38 crankshaft nut size

Hi. Per ORD9 and the green book the nut is 1 1/16”. The one on the J prefix engine in my M38 is 1 3/8”. I know all L134 had the same crankshaft so I assume that the thread size is the same so did the civvy jeeps just have a bigger crankshaft nut?

Have you looked the nut up in the Willys Master Parts List 1949 to 1953?
