Turn Signal mystery...

Post by Jeff_Lee »

Wes, your recent picture post of a turn signal switch reminded me that I have always had a question regarding the sliding plastic piece on the back side of the stalk... what is it's function?
Mine doesn't seem to do anything...

Pull it out while moving the lever all the way up to the right and it will go one more click, that is 4 way flashers.

I could be mistaken, but thought that pulling it out at any time (up, down, or center, either moving or stationary) would activate the 4-way flashers? It's been 37 years since I drove a M151.....fuzzy.....
