....cause the exact same thing happened over here in central Texas too! Its just not right. Drove home through a dust storm as the north wind hit....and then woke up to that strange white stuff everywhere. C'mon you "northerners".......somebody remember to close that gate up there before we end up with all your stray snow down here!
You know, funny you should mention/complain about that. Here in Boston it has been pouring rain(!) for the last two days and is going into a third day tomorrow. There was an article in yesterday's Boston Globe (very liberal - just like the NYT) about the changing climate and how a .8 degree difference would make a significant change in the number of snowy days. Yet, early on in November we had a spell for about a week, right before Thanksgiving, where it was January/February temps - low 20s. We had snow on Sunday/Monday here this week and mid-60s on Wednesday. Go figure.
I would rather take snow than rain though.
Jim, I imagine you probably see snow or even just flurries much more frequent than we do over this way.
It is the main talk of the news when it happens. I really don't think I would like to see it come down all thru the winter though.

It certainly makes for a beautiful picture though! Ken, you have a great looking jeep there. I've used your pics to help me through a few spots on mine. By the way, I saw someone on G503 selling NOS MB safety straps that attach to the dash with an eye bolt and to the body, to keep people in the seats (across the passenger/driver body cutouts). Was that ever done on M38s? Would those same straps work or different ones needed?
