2006 USS Alabama luncheon/park admittance deal

I know I'm early, but I want to get the word out as soon as possible, because some folks missed out last year. We will again offer the package luncheon/park admission deal at the 2006 Gulf Coast Spring MV Rally on Saturday, April 8, 2006. For $20.00 per person, you will receive full admittance to the Battleship USS Alabama, the submarine USS Drum, and the aircraft pavilion. PLUS, you can attend a BBQ buffet lunch in the air conditioned offiicer's wardroom aboard the USS Alabama. Meal includes BBQ Beef, BBQ Chucken, baked beans, potato salid, cole slaw, bread, iced tea, and dessert. Space is limited to 100 people, first-come, first-served. The 2006 Gulf Coast Spring MV Rally is shaping up great! The planning committee has been working hard and there will be some neat things going on during the rally. Chuck, what's the status of this event in light of the hurricane damage to the park?

The Gulf Coast Spring Rally is STILL ON! The U.S.S. Alabama Memorial Park will be open, the USS Alabama and the USS Drum will be open, the aircraft pavilion will be closed. There is some question about if the Best Western motel will be ready in time, so Jeff Smith has made arrangements with another motel in the area for special rates.
