What's Up with Steel Soldiers?

I got an email from Steel Soldiers declaring a revolution. When I tried to go to their website I was redirected. Has the site been hijacked?

Yeah, sounds like it's been hacked. I got another email with someone talking about New World Order, and putting down anybody that doesn't do what they're talking about. Now the site it's down for fixes and upgrades.

I got this email this afternoon:

Hello Steel Soldiers members,


I apologize for the recent string of emails you've received and the issues with the site. The site had been compromised by the hacking group "anonymous". The emails and redirect on the main site DO NOT reflect the views or opinions of the site or it's staff. We harbor no ill intentions to ANY of our members. (You are NOT a coward!) We are currently working to address the exploit they used to attack the site and hope to be back shortly. I apologize for any inconvenience and any upset this has caused. (Boy, have I been getting an ear full!)

Makes you wonder what type of person plays that type of rediculous game with other folks web sites and the hard work and time lost to those folks by this small minded individual. As usual the folks like that are without balls and stay anonymous.

All true.... What also bothers me is that now they have access to my email and that of all the others who are members of the site.

I hate having to change email addresses because of some bozo. I'll just have to wait and see what else appears in my inbox.

Let’s wait a minute and give the guy a chance; Anonymous recommended we absolve all debt. Does this mean I wouldn’t have to pay my property taxes or mortgage? Also to redistribute wealth; I’d like some of George Soros’s and Tom Hanks’ money.

There are polite methods and formats to introduce his liberal ideology with that are not destructive and will not incur costs on folks to repair his damage.

The point is his damage to the steel soldiers web site and the spam proliferation issue to each members email system.
