I took the first photos this morning showing the aftermath of using my m38 all weekend at the MVMVC.org 25th annual Weare rally. Mind you this is after it the rain washed some of the mud off.
That Chevy looks like the canadian C8 HUP (13 cab), but I can't recall seeing one with the spare wheel mounted there (there would normally be a door in that position). There were also wireless (HUW) and ambulance (HUA) variants which looked similar.
Great photos!

According to that site, production changed from "run-flat" tires to standard tires which meant a requirement to carry a spare (so, the addtion of a side-mounted spare wheel).

Yes is is a CMP Hup. The owner has photos of it while in action with the BBC. the owner has 3 CMPs. Beast, beauty, and Canada. They are all very nice trucks
Its a nice looking HUP. I have a restored HUW, but the early modle which is a bit of a hassle as you dont have anywhere realy to carry a spare.
By the way a great set of photos... some very nice vehicles!
