Happy New Year 2014

Post by M38CDNBill »

I wish a Happy New Year 2014 to all M38/M38A1 enthousiasts. However, don’t forget that hunger, poverty, injustice and all forms of antagonism which man is willing to do continue to prevail despite all our wishes for happiness and health.

Like Antoine de St-Exupery said in his book " Wind, Sand and Stars", what I really wish to all is to be like the orange threes and find a small patch of fertile land and truth so that your roots strongly anchored to the noblest of human values, the crown of your branches can protect your loved ones from all forms of tyranny and fruits that you produce is used to feed more to satiety.

I heard that instead of a ball they're gonna drop a giant
spud in the Boise downtown square at midnite
(they take that famous potato bit a little too far)
Sounds like a good nite to camp by the woodstove
with a hot toddy and read.
Happy New Year Fellas!!!!!!!
keep 'em rollin'

Hi Chris,

I always visit the Netherlands when I'm in northern Europe and each time when I'm there, I'm living at Groesbeek at De Oude Molen (The Old Mill) hotel. Very beautifull country with many fantastic little roads to ride with Antique Military Vehicles.

Wow that's very well written Dutch, THANKS.

You're welcome in Epe a place on the beautiful Veluwe in central Netherlands.

I know Epe located just north of Apeldoorn. I'm living in Three Rivers, Canada and we have here the Three Rivers Regiment, this armored regiment who ended the WWII precisely at Apeldoorn.

Here is a picture of me (standing up) taken at Groesbeek with one of my HMVs colleague.

In Netherlands, you have many fantastic and bizarre HMVs as we can see below  :D
