My 54 M38A1 project

Post by TGP »

Picked this jeep up New Years Day and trying to put it back together
in Military dress as much as possible.
It's been converted to 12Volts and I'm probably going to leave that.
I do have the waterproof Dist. which I will rebuild and reinstall.

Currently gathering the rear seat and hardware and the Top ,bows and brackets.

I'm learning my way through this.
Thanks for a Great Site

Got the Bow brackets installed as correctly as I could figure.
Also the footman loops.
All this was missing.

HA!
Yup!
But it's Fun
Between the MV's and all the vintage tractors and trucks I have
Plenty to keep me busy in retirement!

Thanks WesK.

I have been all through your albums and a few others too.
The information you have compiled is Priceless.
New to the Jeep MD so it will be a easier road with all the help
Here

Shame there is no "Donate" link to help fund the site.
I always try to contribute to all the sites I visit either by
Knowledge when I can, and or Monetary.

Picked up the Top Bows from the powder coater and installed.

Welded in new replacements.

Well I finally got my rear seat installed.

After my seat arrived it was discovered that the frame pivot tube had been cut
Off at some point.
So after welding 1/4" back on each end it fit like it supposed to.
Thanks all for the help.
